Bridge the Divide Between
Traditional and Alternative Medicine
If you are like most people, you probably have more routine maintenance
performed on your car than on your body. Dr. Robert Blaich says that we
all have within us an Inner Pharmacy - the body’s own ability to regulate
and heal itself through the production of good chemicals. What keeps us
from using this asset?
In the United States, almost one-third of the population lives with a chronic
disease such as osteoarthritis, asthma, GERD (gastroesophageal reflux
disease) and heartburn, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, or anxiety/
depression and mood disorders. Chronic disease is now the leading
cause of disability and consumes 78 percent of the nation’s health expenditures.
Traditional Western medicine rarely cures these diseases; they are“managed.” This problem can’t be solved by medical industries, government,
or private insurance because it is self-induced and is a product of our
lifestyles. Even though more than half of physician visits are now to alternative
practitioners, there’s still confusion or intimidation about whom to
see for a specific health problem.
The good news is that Your Inner Pharmacy offers realistic options that can
give you five, 10, even 20 more years of quality time that can delay, postpone,
and often minimize the onset of chronic disease. By devoting 10 percent
of your leisure time to “healthy aging” activities (roughly five hours a
week), you can affect the progression of these preventable chronic diseases.
Your Inner Pharmacy addresses lifestyle factors that cause the malfunction
in the first place.
Your Inner Pharmacy also bridges the divide between traditional and alternative
medicine, showing how patients can receive the best from all modalities
of healthcare. Dr. Blaich guides you in creating your own common
sense Health Plan, an organized program of weekly health-promoting activities,
stress-reduction, diet, exercise, and routine maintenance to help
increase your longevity and quality of life.
Dr. Blaich is an internationally recognized natural healthcare expert, both
as a physician and a teacher. His experience in Complementary and
Alternative Medicine (CAM) spans thirty years. Following pre-medical education
he pursued a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, and became fascinated
with a discipline and holistic approach to healthcare called Applied
Kinesiology (AK). At 55 years old, he maintains a successful health care
practice, teaches seminars, and participates in many sports. He is not antidrug;
he is pro-health. He and his family reside in Denver, CO. Dr. Blaich
has trained over 5,000 doctors in a unique methodology that bridges the
traditional and alternative medical arenas.
